YAMAGUCHI, Japan - A giant Great White shark was trapped July 9 off the coastal waters of Hikari, a fishing town in Yamaguchi Prefecture in western Japan. Local fishermen captured the 5-meter-long shark with a shark-trapping net after it was found swimming near a local beach.

Title:  Chiyo exacts some revenge in Nagoya sumo
NAGOYA, Japan - Ozeki Chiyotaikai (L) gained a measure of revenge against Musashimaru (R) by bumping off the newly promoted yokozuna on July 11 in the Nagoya Grand Sumo Tournament. Chiyotaikai, knocked out of the spring tourney in March with a broken nose suffered at the hands of Musashimaru, sent the Samoa-born grand champion out with a determined series of thrusts in their bout at Aichi Prefectural Gymnasium.
